Transparency
Where an interface, response or classification is produced or assisted by an automated system, we say so. We do not disguise machine outputs as human ones, and we do not claim capabilities the underlying systems do not have.
Human oversight
Sovereign Suite is designed so that consequential decisions — verification outcomes, compliance judgements, decisions about people — remain with people. Automation exists to surface evidence, structure information and reduce toil, not to make final calls on someone’s behalf without oversight.
Privacy-first AI
We do not use customer content submitted to Sovereign Suite to train third-party AI models. Where automated features process personal information, we minimise what is sent, prefer on-request processing over background profiling, and apply the same Australian Privacy Principles that govern the rest of the product.
No hidden decision-making
We do not run silent scoring, ranking or eligibility systems that affect users without disclosure. If a future feature involves automated decision-making with significant effects, we will describe it here, describe how to seek human review, and describe how to challenge an outcome.
Responsible automation
When we build automation into workflows we consider: is the input reliable, is the output reviewable, is there a clear failure mode, and can a person always override. If we cannot answer those questions honestly, we do not ship the automation.
Current status
The current public release of sovereignsuite.com.au does not perform automated decision-making about visitors. As AI-assisted features move into production in the verification engine and workspace, this page will be updated to describe exactly what they do and where a human is in the loop.
